De Klerck Engineering is proud to be part of the expansion project for AZ Sint-Maarten in Mechelen, where we are working with Tripod Architects and Ibens to realize the expansion of the hospital through an E&B formula. This project includes the construction of a new stand-alone psychiatric day specialization (PAD) and a connection to the existing consultation block 4 in the main building.
The expansion aims to strengthen care capacity and improve accessibility to hospital services. The new psychiatric day unit provides a modern and safe environment for patients, while its connection to the consultation block optimizes the flow of care within the hospital.
This expansion will further strengthen the quality of care on the campus of AZ Sint-Maarten, with special attention to integrating the new infrastructure into the existing environment and creating an efficient, flexible care operation.
