K-Chairs AZ Alma

Timanti is a new day treatment unit at AZ Alma for children and adolescents aged 10 to 18 with mental and/or psychiatric vulnerability. Here they are given the space to discover, connect and further develop themselves.

The department provides customized care, working closely with parents and involved caregivers. By focusing on dialogue and an interdisciplinary approach, treatment is tailored to the needs of the adolescent and his or her context. This takes into account the pace and carrying capacity of the child and family.

Timanti has 12 licensed K-places, divided into 2 living groups of up to 8 youths. The building is designed with attention to a healing environment, where peace and safety are central. Thanks to its detached location, in a green setting overlooking forest and open space, the building offers a low-stimulation and supportive setting. In addition, the design is adapted to the specific challenges of psychiatric care, such as possible noise pollution, aggression or suicidal behavior.

Timanti creates a safe and warm environment where young people have the opportunity to build their future step by step.
